We use an app to help track Expenses etc from accounts that we supply from a more major account. When a line item is added, it naturally refers to the maximum record ID for the "balance" to add or subtract from for the new balance.
However, when entries are put in that are from previous dates, this breaks the chain of history, as this new entry is trying to be the new most recent record.
Ideally, I want to figure out how to have the maximum record for each transaction date.
