Why am I unable to color-code a report? I selected "assign to choices in" and selected "Status", however no options showed up to allow me color code. Also I tried to select "Write a formula" and no box opened up allowing me to write a formula.

    Hi Ryan,

That is an unusual behavior to have a user run into when building out a report. If you are still having that issue when editing this report I would suggest reaching out to our Care Team via a support case. This way one of our Care team members can take a look at that issue with you and help to troubleshoot it since you seem to be running into unusual behavior when attempting to colorize. You can contact our support when signed into Quick Base by clicking on the question mark icon in the upper right hand corner and selecting Manage Support Cases or directly here

I hope you were able to resolve this issue with your report and if not that the team can help you out. Thank you for your time today.

I have the same problem and can not get it resolved using a Case with the Care Team.  Any idea why this is happening?

This is the response I received....

"Thanks for reaching out to Quick Base Customer Care. This is an issue that we've seen crop up here and there following the roll-out of the color picker in reports. One thing that seems to cause it is if the default report for that table has a color formula. You can check that by going to the main table page, clicking Customize this Page, and then Default Report Settings. "

    Ray,
Thank you for your well worded response.  I followed your steps and it worked.  I am now able to use coloring in reports again now that that Table's default report does not have a formula in it.
