  • 1.  Changing the ""to whom""field within notifications and reminders?

    Posted 08-01-2017 16:15
I've been looking to add a specific user to a notification/reminder rather than myself. However, I am currently only getting 2 options: record owner, and last modified, as an option. can someone guide me through adding specific users to the "to whom" section of notification?

In your notification settings you should be able to select email list and a text box should display allowing you type in specific email addresses.

Ahh in that case you'll have to create a user field. Then just set the person you want to be the default. Then you can choose that field as the recipient.

Create a new user field (right click after a field on your form and choose add a field after this one)
Scroll down and choose new field, chose a name and change type to user

Then you must select specific user and choose the user you want. This only works if the user is registered with your app.
